He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Dorance and Martha Elizabeth Rasmussen (Daenzer); his brothers, Larry Rasmussen, Benny Rasmussen and Allen Rasmussen; and his siblings-in-law, Terry Stejskal and Gale Rasmussen.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Sue Rasmussen (Ingalsbe); his grandchildren, Tyler Nickerson, C. J. Rasmussen, Kassandra Brandt (Johnathan), Kourtney Flannery (Alvin), Kraig Hancock (Emily Wolf), Kynsey Hancock, Max Rasmussen, Reese Rasmussen and Lane Rasmussen; and his sister Carol Stejskal of Maple Grove, Minnesota..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Oakdale Baptist Church (348 Chili Ave, Peru, IN 46970). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Oakdale Baptist Church.
