He was predeceased by: his mother Sandra Sloan (Jines-Decker); his grandparents, James Arthur "Jim" Jines (Peru), Lloyd, Helen Hein (Jines), Jessie Nelson and Altha Faye (Branstator); and his brother Henry Albert "Al" Decker Jr. (Peru).
He is survived by: his father Verle Sloan (Louisiana); his daughter Bianca Theeonn Hobbs (Sloan); and his siblings, Lisa Decker (Peru), Jim Decker (Peru), Cindy Tyler (Jeramey), Lee David Sloan (Lisa), Chad Sloan (Amanda) and Suzan Sloan (Peru). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
