He was predeceased by: his parents, Ovid Eckelbarger and Ruby Pugh Eckelbarger; his wife Dixie L. Gable; his brothers, Bryce Eckelbarger and Byron Eckelbarger; and his great grandchild Mya Brown.

He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Brown of Peru and Stacey Sarver (Chris) of Peru; his grandchildren, Andy Brown (Mary), Megan Mock (Matt), Courtney Sarver and Blake Sarver (Meagan); his great grandchildren, Michelle Rasor, Brody Rasor, Mason Mock, Miles Mock and Collins Sarver; and his sisters, Sara Sue Whitcomb of Walton and Della Skeen (Roger) of Westfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to an animal shelter or animal rescue of your choice.
