It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Bacon of Peru, Indiana, who passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Roger departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Roger. Though Roger may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bacon and Naomi White Bacon; and his siblings, Sara Solieum, Robert Bob E'Bacon and Etheleen Oaks.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Ulery (Homer Gamble) of Madison, IN and Melanie Jackson (Alan). He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
