She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Devoid and Florence Virginia Jackson (Slocum); her husband Stephen "Steve" Jerry McElheny; her son Cycrus Christy; and her siblings, David Jackson and Sharon Sanford.
She is survived by: her children, Katina Christy of Elwood, Jerry Carr (Denise) of Kokomo, Roger Carr of Peru, Janice Leslie (Jerry) of Fort Wayne, Cassie McElheny (Robert Tarbox) of New Hampshire and Carrie Munroe (Chris) of North Carolina; and her siblings, Thomas Jackson (Kathy) of Osseo and Nancy Arnold (Earl) of Sandusky, Ohio.. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
