He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jim Heavilon and Deloris Heavilon; his wife Susan; his children, Melissa Wiley (Jerry), Brad of Kokomo, IN and Lindsey Daugherty (Jeremy) of Peru, IN; his brother Larry Indianapolis (Ronn Frizado); and his grandchildren, Lauren Seymour (Justin), Connor Wiley, Aiden Heavilon, Keira and Justy Wiley. He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Vitas Hospice organization of Lakeland, FL or Peru Municipal Golf Course in his honor.
