He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Horace and Frances Wauneta Beck Coughlin; his wife Joyce Ann Elliott; his daughter Julie Coughlin (Shawn Jordan) of Peru; his grandchildren, Thomas Andrew Pearcy and Selene Carrie Marie Walker; and his sisters, Kathy Mundy of Kokomo and Jane Hunt (Jim) of Virginia.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home (84 W Main St, Peru, IN 46970). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Judes Children Research Hospital.
