He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Walt" Matthews and Helen Louise Johnson (Morrow); and his brothers, Jerry Johnson and John Johnson. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Paula Sue Lauer; his wife Paula; his children, Jeremiah Johnson (Alisha) of Zionsville and Jessica Rollins (Taylor) of Carmel; his grandsons, Preston Johnson, Mason Johnson and Grayson Rollins; his sister Barbara Kormelink of Michigan; and his sister-in-law Suzie Johnson of Walkerton, IN..
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home to either the Peru High School Academic Super Bowl Team or the Peru High School Athletic Department.
