He was predeceased by: his parents, Rennaker A. Hardwick and Kathryn A. Hardwick (Puterbaugh); his former wife Lois E. Myers; his brother Glen Hardwick; his son-in-law Curtis Ribble; and his nephew Tim Hardwick.
He is survived by: his wife Pat (Moseley); his children, Dana Ribble of Peru, Kerry Earle (Donald) of Marion and Phillip Lee of Southern; his grandchildren, Joe Ribble (Aimi), Nick Ribble (Amanda), Derek Davies (Jessica), Andrea Batdorf, Kayla Knight and Daniel Knight; his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Waters (Ronald), Nancy Gates (Tom), Shirley Kerns and David Payne; and his nephew Greg Hardwick (Debbie). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
