He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil T Smith Sr. and Anna Maye Smith (Kennell); and his son Kenneth Carl Smith. He is survived by: his wife Iva Maejean Bachman; his daughter Jeannine Marie (Mark); and his grandchildren, Chadd Smith (Shannon), Caleb Smith (Amanda), Joshua Smith (Lacey), Jonathan Smith (Ashlynn), Aaron Smith, Benjamin Smith, Krystal Smith, Patrick Andrews (Becky) and Eddie Andrews (Amber). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The church's social distancing guidelines will apply.

“So sorry for your loss Iva. Smitty and I were good friends and worked together at Dave's supermarket for several years after high school. I remember many good times together, racing go-carts, racing cars, fishing and generally raising hell in his younger, wilder years. He was always into new things and usually pursued them with a passion. Mary Ann and I still live in Doylestown on gates street. Thinking of you and your family, Ron and Mary Ann Gossard”
