With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Melanie J. Howes of Petersburg, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by : her parents, Franklin Ridao and Opal Ridao (Rousch). She is survived by : her husband Mickey Howes of Petersburg; her daughters, Lindsey Covington (Ricky) of Fishers, IN and Emily Howes (Caden) of Monroe City, IN; her grandchildren, Asher, Harlow and Charlie; and her brothers, Richard Ridao (Cindy) and David Ridao (Sherry). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (801 Walnut St, Petersburg, IN 47567). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
