He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John R. Long and Janet R. Crowell (Yoder); his wife Sharon K. Davis; his children, Sherry Hardesty (William) of New Paris, Jennifer Hull (Chad) of Columbia City and Glen Ashby (Michelle) of Dunnellon, FL; his grandchildren, Andrea Perkins, Jeremy Grumme (Conner), Amanda Sturgis, Justin Hall, Jeremy Hall, William Leeka, Gregory Ashby, Keynna Vickers, Braxton Ashby, Brooklyn Sloan, Madison, Easton, Lydia Childs, Brantly Hall, Lucas, Chase, Bryson Sturgis and Zarina Vickers; and his siblings, Richard, Roger, Gover, Diana and Pam.
