He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Fugate and Ida Bella Fugate (Taulbee); his wife Jean Fugate (Phillips); his daughter Amanda Idena Fugate; his granddaughter Brittnie Fugate; his great grandchild Ryker Jay Newman; and his siblings, Ollie, Arthur, Sheldon, Robert, Cheshly, Westley, Chester, Samuel, Estil, Dally, Sophia and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his son Lawrence Fugate of Pierceton; his grandchildren, Brandon Fugate (Terra) of South Whitley, Ashley Miller (Dalton) of South Whitley, Travis Fugate of South Whitley and Keenis "Schyler" Fugate (Kenley) of South Whitley; and his great grandchildren, Madilynn, Maci, Lillionna, Liam and Bennet.
