He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwyn Gray and Mariam Gray (Neal); and his great-nephew Camden Ping. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Pierce (Askren); his daughters, Teresa Loft (Chuck) of Dayton, IN and Leann; his stepchildren, Jodi Ping (Kevin) and Matt Pierce (Laurie); and his sister Denise Long (Gene) of Lebanon, IN. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
