He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Joseph and Bertha Bernice Young (McClain); and his siblings, Carol Elaine Campbell, Billy Joe Young and Bobby Young.
He is survived by: his children, Randall Joe Young of Battleground, Rollin Wayne Young of Flora, Phillip Gene Young of Lafayette, Peggy Sue Campbell (Robert) of Pittsboro, Dionne Storey of Fishers, Sonja Marie Pritchett (Tom) of Lafayette, Tammy Cortezz (Herbert) of Missouri, Roxie Beth Baker of Missouri, Christie Treen of New Mexico and Danny Thomas (Siobhan) of Portland, Oregon; and his brother Morris "Gene" Young of Myrtle Beach. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Goodwin Funeral Home (200 S Main St, Frankfort, IN 46041). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
