She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Harting Schoenewey (Kenny) and Mary Elizabeth Montgomery (Betty); and her stepfather Mac McCoy. She is survived by: her husband David Mellinger; her children, Jenny Eben (Chris Richey), Rusty Mellinger (Tessa) and Nick Mellinger (Sarah Kinder); her sister Lynn Schoenewey Machen; her siblings-in-law, Paul Mellinger and Jan Mellinger Stanley; and her grandchildren, Alexis DeCosta, Dalyn DeCosta, Robby Mellinger and Mattie Mellinger. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
