He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kenneth and Nellie Cameron Maple; and his siblings, David Maple of Columbus, IN, James Maple of Baytown, TX and Mary Shaw of Prospect, KY.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Witte; his siblings, Louise Cummings of LaPort, IN, June Maple of Greenfield, IN and Mike Maple of Louisville, KY; his siblings-in-law, Betty Maple of Baytown, TX, Cheryl McGinley (Marty) of Lebanon, IN and Ron Shaw of Louisville, KY; his children, Jenny (Darrell), Thompson of Corsicana, TX, Matt (Meghan) and Kerri Farmer (Brandon) of Mooresville, IN; his grandchildren, Liam Farmer, Alyson Maple, Isabel Farmer, Braden Maple, Samantha Thompson and Lucas Farmer; and his friend Steve.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Hayden Historical Museum or Hayden Baptist Church, Hayden, IN.
