She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Wendt and Martha Wendt (Coon); her sons, Steve D. Sherwood and Scott D. Sherwood; and her brother Ronald Wendt.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Whetstone (Jim); her grandchildren, Sebastian, Aiden Whetstone, Carly and Caitlyn Sherwood; and her sisters, Patricia Wendt and Debra Preder. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to go to Plainfield Health Care Center, a long term nursing facility that was her home for the last 5 years of her life.
