He is survived by: his son Bruce Carpenter (Shawn); his siblings, Richard Carpenter, Linda Amado, Nina Hughett and Carol Maners; his daughter-in-law Patricia Goodman; and his grandchildren, Tara Neal (Kirkland), Amanda Davis (Kendrick), Caleb Carpenter (Erin), Cayla Stroud (Ryan) and Lauren Wiatt (Darrick). He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren.
