She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Floyd Abney and Mary Abney (Philpott); her husband Paul Barnett; her daughter Morgan Ligon (Daniel); her stepchildren, Deanna Dickey and Troy Barnett; and her adored dachshund Reese.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hall-Baker Funeral Home (339 E Main St, Plainfield, IN 46168). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at the Maple Hill Cemetery (709 Harding St, Plainfield, IN 46168).
