She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar McNelley and Margaret Thomas McNelley; and her sisters, Eudell McNelley Wallin (Robert), Lura Helen McNelley Anders (Leroy) and Beulah Ethel McNelley Elkins (Clifford).
She is survived by : her husband Alvin Smith; her daughter Lynaire White (Warner "Turk"); and her grandson Warner "Riley" White III.
