He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Klas (Diefenbach) and Lester Klas; his wife Sharon Skaggs; his sons, James Klas, Jr. and Jeff Klas; his sister Kathleen; and his sister-in-law Donna Dybalski.
He is survived by: his sister Sharon Harmsen (Mike) of Beaver Dam, WI; his nieces and nephews, Michelle Stapleton of Avon, Shauna Smith, Anthony Edwards of Brownsburg, David Edwards of Avon, Brad Smith and Blake Smith; and his sister-in-law Tammy Smith.
