It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Shrake-Hancock-Vild (Plainfield, Indiana), who passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Jane shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jane farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Shrake and Burrell Shrake. She is survived by: her siblings, Dick, Bob and Judy; her former spouse Stu Hancock; her husband Joe Vild; and her children, Jeff Hancock (Pam), Brad Hancock (Peggy), Brenda Livingston (Steve) and Angela Hawley (Bryan). She is also survived by grandchildren, and ten cherished great-grandchildren.
