She was predeceased by: her parents, Corbin William "Bill" and Dorothy Woolsey (Dillard); her husband Ronald Gene Kroger; and her siblings, Michael Woolsey and Rita Calvert.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Short of Fillmore and Carla Bolin (Short) of Plainfield; her sister Theresa Day (Don) of Greenwood; her grandchildren, Daniel Chase Hessler (Andrea), Carl Trey Hessler (Whitney), Carlie Curry, Kendall Nichole Short, Landon Thomas-Michael Short and Mallory Jordan Short; her great grandchildren, Quinn Hessler, Hayden Hessler, Kellen Hessler and Dean McCleery; and her former husband Carl Arnold Short of Indianapolis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clayton Christian Church (5110 IN-39, Clayton, IN 46118). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
