He was predeceased by: his parents, Hajime Kaya and Harue Kaya; and his partner Chow Chow Yogi-Boo. He is survived by: his siblings, Ruth Walker, Ellen Ura and Calvin Kaya; and his children, Kevin (Joyce), Kerry (Laura), Kathy and Ken Jr. (Shari).
