She was predeceased by : her parents, William H. Rukes and Edna Petty Rukes; her husband George Grunert; and her siblings, Dorothy Harrison, Marion Rukes and Myron Rukes.

She is survived by : her stepchildren, Jeannine Rogers, Thomas Grunert (Sue) and Rick Grunert. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grand Children, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
