He was predeceased by : his parents, Milton Burns and Lelia Burns (Buck); his brother James Burns; and his sister-in-law Wilma Burns. He is survived by : his girlfriend Judy Gilbert; his children, Debra Sampson of Brazil and Terry Burns (Gina) of Florida; his grandchildren, Shanna Sampson of Brazil, Jarrod Sampson (Tascha) of Brazil, Erica Garland (Landon) of Florida, Ian Burns (Katy) of Florida and Trevor Burns (Kelsey) of Florida; his great grandchildren, Sage Sampson, Jasmine Garland, Braxton Sampson, Malcolm Garland, Bryar Sampson, Kyson Chapman, Maia Chapman, Emma Burns and George Burns; and his niece Sheila Jones (Frank).
