It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pat Lane of Plainfield, Indiana, who passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Pat may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Pat touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Prettyman and Frances Little Prettyman; her husband David O. Lane; and her daughter Brenda Lane. She is survived by: her son David Mark Lane (Kathy); her grandchildren, Brittany Phelps (Josh) and Mark Lane (Kristin); and her great grandchildren, Jackk Lane, Eleanor Lane and Easton Phelps.
