He is survived by: his wife Cathy Heymig; his children, Robert Lee Heymig Jr. (Heather), Jeremy Cook (Wendy), Joshua Heymig (Heather) and Kianna Heymig (Steve); his brothers, Terry Heymig (Debbie) and Michael Heymig; and his grandchildren, Brayden Cook, Randy Cook, Ricky Cook, Haven Heymig and Chase Heymig.
