He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Simmons and Etna Simmons; and his siblings, Jerry Simmons, Darlene Washburn and Joy Didion.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Simmons; his son Ryan Simmons (Melissa); his brothers, Larry and Terry Simmons; and his grandchildren, Amelia, Grady and Grant Simmons.
