Samuel Ping Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Samuel Ping of Plainfield, Indiana. Samuel, born on March 23, 1930, passed away on October 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Ping and Mary Ping; his wife Doreen Ping; and his sister Shirley Carter. He is survived by: his children, Curtis Ping (Karen), Karen Brown (Jay) and Jenifer Ping. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home (106 Shaw St, Plainfield, IN 46168).
