She was predeceased by: her parents, Cole Winnett and Mary Winnett; her husband Bill Nelson; her brother Richard Winnett-Kenton; and her stepson Bruce Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Long and Mike Skillman (Lisa); and her stepson Brian Nelson. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home (106 Shaw St, Plainfield, IN 46168). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
