He is survived by: his wife Ruth Basford; his daughters, Lela Walk (Cody) and Marie Basford (David Fisher); his stepdaughter Shannon Wagoner; and his grandchildren, Shaun Rickelman, Olivia Rickelman, Baylee Basford and Gavin Clark.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home (106 Shaw St, Plainfield, IN 46168). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
