She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse A. Macy and Etta Macy (Wood); her husband William L. Schmidlapp; and her siblings, Emory Macy, Laurel Macy (Thomas), June Routson, Bernedene Jones, Lorna Pearson, Betty Schwier, Mary E. Jones and Juanita Smitely.
She is survived by: her children, Alane Rozelle (Steve) of Pierson, Michigan, Dean Schmidlapp of Plymouth and Debra Wiens (Len) of Snohomish, Washington; her grandchildren, Tyler Day (Sarah), Arielle Nabors (Jonny), Caleb Day (Jaclin), Nicholas Day, Madison Wiens (Emma) and Zoe Wiens; and her great grandchildren, Sammi, Norah, Claudia, Carmen and Anahlee. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Crossroads Church (1650 N Oak Dr, Plymouth, IN 46563).
