With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dovie A Stacy of Plymouth, Indiana, who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dovie A Stacy to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Hurd and Augusta Hurd (Maulky); her husband Arnold Stacy; her daughter Jodi Stacy; and her siblings, Merle Hurd, Leonie Samons, Daisy Carr, Judy Johnson and Thelma Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Dewight Newsome (Gayle) of North Judson, James Newsome (Dawn) of Neenah, Ray Stacy (Deb) of North Judson, Barb Willimans of Culver and Bernice Kline of Berwick; and her brother Charles Hurd (Patty) of Winamac. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren 17 great-grandchildren 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel (108 S Main St, Knox, IN 46534). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
