It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold J. Schmidt of Plymouth, Indiana, who passed away on September 24, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schmidt and Marie Schmidt (Dillenburg); his wife Patricia; and his brothers, Paul, John, Bill, Jim and Rick Schmidt.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Schmidt (Kerry) of Lafayette, Marilyn Byers of Argos and Kevin Schmidt (Stephanie) of Elkhart; his grandchildren, Kaylee Schmidt, Bobby, Jamie Byers and Abby Schmidt; and his siblings, Margaret Stukenborg of Tulsa, Tom Schmidt (Rhea) of Monterey, Rose Schmidt of Plymouth and Cathy Eley (Frank Foster) of Argos. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
