He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Greer and Lois Greer (Hess-Miller); his stepfather Everett "Pat" Miller; and his stepsiblings, Lewis Miller and Kris Ethier.
He is survived by: his wife Judy of Plymouth; his children, John Greer of Plymouth and Janet Greer of Indianapolis; his grandchild Kasey Zronek (Dominick) of Indianapolis; his sons, James Greer of Plymouth and Jacob Greer of Plymouth; the mother of his children Krista Greer; his stepsiblings, Jay Miller (Gale) and Kay Miller; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Barnhart (Nancy) and Jane Geyer.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home (1100 N Michigan St, Plymouth, IN 46563). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
