It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Cecil Gaines of Plymouth, Indiana, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Thomas and Ada Ruth Gaines (Watkins); his stepson James Coburn; his daughter Bianca; and his siblings, Charles, Maudie, Norma Jean, Evalena, Minerva, Goldie, Herbert, Clara and Margaurite.

He is survived by : his brother-in-law Mel; his wife Jan; his children, Randall Gaines (Colleen), Ashton, Aaron, William Gaines (Jodie), Bryttenny Sands (Matthew), Blake (Sandy) and Cassandra O'Hara (Natasha); his stepdaughter Debbie Keen (Steve); his stepgrandchildren, Jordan, Noah, Katie and Barbara Sommers (Troy); his great grandchild Oliver; and also, MiKayla and Jennifer (Garret).
