He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Hostetler and Bessie Hostetler (Krieg); his wife Roberta Keiser; his son Dennis Hostetler; his grandsons, Jeremy Hostetler and David Palmitessa; and his sisters, Doris, Janice and Roma.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Ann Palmitessa (John) of Cannon Falls, MN, Selene Leland (Scott) of Culver, IN, Randy Hostetler (Kathy) of Plymouth, IN, Rodney W. Hostetler of Plymouth, IN, Jim Hostetler (Linda) of Plymouth, IN, Jeffery Hostetler (Kathy) of Plymouth, IN and Neal Roland Hostetler, Jr. (Sandra) of Webster, MN; his daughter-in-law Mary Hostetler of Plymouth, IN; and his grandchildren, Richard, Christa, Lynn, Adrian, Kari Lynn, Christopher, Jennifer, Robert, Benjamin, Bo, Melissa, Nicholas, Don, Hailey and Terry. He is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (425 S Michigan St, Plymouth, IN 46563). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
