Virginia Ruth Spencer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Ruth Spencer (Plymouth, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 16, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel I. Spender; her parents, Bina Nitcher and Lula Nitcher; her sons, John Spencer and Michael Spencer; her daughter-in-law Diane Spencer; and her siblings, George, Jeanette, Martha, Betty, Goldie and Lula.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Spencer of Mishawaka and Susan Huff (Greg) of Plymouth; her grandchildren, Holly Heller, Brandon Rogers, Angela Huff, Kristen Fehrer, Dustin Milton, Stephen Spencer, Sam Spencer, Shanda Spencer and Andrea Spencer; and also Linda Spencer of Plymouth. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home (1100 N Michigan St, Plymouth, IN 46563). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
