He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl Taylor and Mary Taylor (Rouch); his children, Twila Wimmer, Yvonna "Sis" Cable, Penny Taylor, Gary Taylor and Kevin Taylor; and his siblings, David Taylor, Ray Taylor, George "Ricky" Taylor, Susan Bothast and Sherry Love.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Taylor (Irene) of Redkey, IN, Billy Briggs of Montpelier, IN, Tonya Shultz of Bluffton, IN, Tina McCord of Hartford City, IN, Bonnie Wyatt of Bluffton, IN, Neena Charnley (Nick) of Hartford City, IN and Peggy Miers (Jeremy) of Yorktown, IN; his siblings, Terry Taylor (Carol) of Hartford City, IN, Mark Taylor (Suzanne) of Montpelier, IN and Nancy Pryor of Montpelier, IN; and his pet Coco. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walker & Glancy Funeral Home (109 W Windsor St, Montpelier, IN 47359). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
