He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sobkowski and Ann Sobkowski; and his brothers, Harold and Robert Kopanski. He is survived by: his wife Lenore Sobkowski; his children, Gregory Sobkowski (Sue) and Beverly Sobkowski; and his grandchildren, Patrick Sobkowski and Alison Sobkowski.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church, 2949 Willowcreek Rd. Portage, IN 46368.
