It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Mae Travis of Portage, Indiana, born in Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on December 1, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard Brink and Alice M. Brink (Kortenhoven); her husband Cleaveland Travis; her siblings, Andrew Brink (late Anne), Minnie Johanna Alder (late Bob), Nicholas Brink (late Lois), Caroline Brink (late Al), Esther Woolard (late John), Henry Brink (late Helen), Christine Heckler (late Winfield) and Leonard Brink Jr.; her niece Ellie Koenmann; and her grandson Bobby Alvarado.
She is survived by : her children, Sharon Fisher (Eddie), Nancy Benton (Frank), Juanita Alvarado (Louis), Cleveland Travis Jr. (Lori), Roger Travis (Sandra), Tina Newton and David Fisher (MaryJo); her grandchildren, Benjamin Travis, Crystal Bunton (Dale), Josh Fisher (Kelly), Sean Fisher (Amy), Joshua Benton (Emily), Hannah Parrish (Christopher), Jill Miller (Jeremy), Amanda Borden (Greg), Larissa Bright (Nickolas), Kylie Alvarado, Nicole Dejesus (Jeremy), Sami Travis, Kyle Young, Zach Travis, Joey Travis, Cody Newton and Keith Newton (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Jacob, Nickolas, Owen, Kaylee, Kaitlin, Xander, Kelsey, Kaelyn, Kyle, Alexis, Silas, Daniel, Karis, Thomas, Elizabeth, Henry, Caleb, Isaiah, Max, Bryanna, Lendon, Lana, Ariana, Kayden, Nicholas, Lucas, David, Odin, Orion, Oberon, Gotham, Keaton and Wayllon; her great great grandchild Noah; and her sister-in-law Janice Brink. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
