She was predeceased by: her father Martin Smith; and her son Dean Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Robert O. Johnson of Portage; her children, Ruth Jones (Robert) of Portage, Kenton Johnson (James) of Valparaiso and Jay Johnson of Darien, IL; her daughter-in-law Tamara Johnson of Valparaiso; her grandsons, Robert Jones II of Portage, Ryan Jones of Portage and Grayson Johnson (Montana) of Milwaukee, WI; her great grandchildren, Victoria A. Jones of Portage and Andrew R. Jones of Portage; and her great great grandchild Carter Cunningham. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Porter County Humane Society.
