He is survived by : his wife Kathy Vandevelde; his children, John James (Kara) of Valparaiso, Jason James of Portage and Jessica James-Shively (Adam) of Portage; his daughter-in-law Jennifer James; his grandchildren, Logan, Evan, Landon, Hunter, Lexie, Lillian and Jackson; his great grandchild Lydia; and his brothers, Jerry James and Brian James.
