He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Rodin and Ada Rodin (Kimbraugh); his wife Shirley Jean Kurre; his brother Larry Rodin (Verna); his daughters, Laura DeLeon and Linda Evola; and his son-in-law Gilbert DeLeon.

He is survived by: his son Erik Rodin (Joyce); his grandchildren, Stephen, Brittany (Elle), Kristina, Justin, Nathan, Kyle, Allison and Wesley; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Elijah and Violet.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Portage First United Methodist Church.
