He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Behling and Elsie Galinsky; his wife Zoe Irene Scott; and his siblings, Gilbert Behling (Irene) of Hammond, IN, Raymond Behling (Rose Mary) of Hammond, IN and Esther Evans (Richard) of Oakland, CA..
He is survived by: his sons, Edward C. Behling (Janet) of Hobart, IN, Jeffery Behling (Andy Dudeck) of Valparaiso, IN and James Behling (Patricia) of Cedar Lake, IN; his granddaughters, Kristin Duy (Eliott) and Connie Ramirez (Michael); and his great grandchild Eli Duy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel United Church of Christ (2201 Azalea Dr, Highland, IN 46322). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
