With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George A. Wheeler of Portage, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on September 2, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Mae Wheeler; his wife Lynda Wheeler; and his father George A. Wheeler Sr.. He is survived by : his daughters, Shari Stiglich (Ken) and Dyan Leto (Mike); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Brynn, Kira and Kayla; and his sisters, Joyce Merrell (John) and Laura Chapman (George). He is also survived by nieces and nephew and other loving family members and friends.
