With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jacqueline Estrella of Portage, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Jacqueline may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jacqueline touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her sibling Joselito Estrella. She is survived by: her children, Sarah and Joseph Sanchez; her parents, Irma I. Estrella and Miguel A. Estrella; and her siblings, Robert Estrella (Kelsey Ross) and Delma Iris Badillo (Joel). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Fife Funeral Home (4201 Indianapolis Blvd, East Chicago, IN 46312). A burial was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at the Ridgelawn Cemetery.
