He is survived by: his wife Barbara Boyd of Portage; his children, James Boyd (Bobbi Kay) of Chesterton, Thomas Boyd (Dawn) of Wanatah, Judith Kender of Mitchell, Robert Boyd of Portage, Johnathan Boyd (Lydia) of Hobart and Matthew Boyd of Lake Station; and his brothers, Gerald Boyd of Portage, Gene Brown (Melody) of Lakes and Melvin Boyd (Kim) of Munster. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
